Satapada is located at a distance of 48 KM from Puri. It is nearly 100 KM from the smart
city .
This is the Irrawaddy dolphin and it’s heartening to note that there has been an increase in their number
according to the CDA( Chilika Development Authority.)
In this year census, their population stands at 146 as against 113 last year. 18 teams equipped with
Binoculars fitted with GPS, and Hydrophones were employed for the counting.

Very good experience. A must visit place that every group should visit... Prices are 5,850 for 3 hours where you will see dolphins, red crab and beautiful island where you will see chilika and sea both at one place. It was a tremendous experience after all... One should definately visit
Satpada is a papular tourists place of odisha, satpada means group of village (seven village) in chilika lake. This place is famous for boat ride, dolphin🐬, group of island.
This place the boat ride for 6-8 for an hour was for 900Rs only , my boatman was experienced and showed us many dolphins 🐬, but by the time we returned it was about 1 and half hrs ….. don’t forget to take small food packets for the seagulls …
